« Some things I spend some time visualising but often end up being able to make it happen fairly quickly. But the downriver freestyle on the Royal Gorge has been on my mind for years, one of the few things I’ve obsessed over. Watching so much content to try to find out exactly the best way to do it right, especially the Scott’s cobra flip. Going into this trip I wasn’t sure what I would want to make happen, especially with the uncertainty of water levels. But as we kept getting to the drops with exactly the levels and the crew to make it happen, I couldn’t resist. After years of visualising it was finally time to go for it… »
