The documentary explains the journey and the fight of the « Balkan river tour ». This project aims to show the beauty of the Vjosa that flows between Albania and Greece, and to protect it.
This river is the last of the big rivers of Europe that hadn’t been dammed. It’s 270 kilometers, 170 miles, of untouched wilderness and environmentally respectful human activity. There are 33 dam projects on the Vjosa and its tributary, and this movie shows how much in in stake if those projects come true.
Stay tuned for the full length movie release this year, and keep up with Balkan Rive Tour for updates about their projects!
