« In this episode of Field Trips: West Coast, I’m meeting up with Kevin Nakada from Hobie to go kayak fishing on a LEGENDARY SoCal fishery: La Jolla. Producing kayak fishing legends like Kevin and Jim Sammons, La Jolla earned its nickname « The Jewel » because of its beauty and knack for producing trophy fish just a short paddle from the beach. We’ll be targeting one of the strongest fighting fish on the west coast: California yellowtail.
